Flat rockery stone is suited to edging garden ponds, lining streams and for water fall stones. The geological formation of the sandstone at Mine Train Quarry provides 'smooth' and 'ripple' finishes to the stone enabling naturalistic settings to be constructed. Aside from the aesthetic qualities of the stone, the neutral pH, Class 1 frost resistance, strength and hardness ensure a safe and durable material for landscaping water features in the British climate. As with all quarry products, flat rockery stone is sorted and loaded manually and are supplied in bulk bags and off loaded via a lorry crane.
